How to upload your auction image

Be sure to enter the image address carefully so that you can get it right the first time. You can test the image address by entering it into your browser and seeing if your image comes up. Follow these simple steps to find out the address of your image.

1- First your image must be uploaded to a web page. If you don't have a web site or server to store your images see the note on the bottom of this page. We can put them on our server for a small fee.
2- Use your browser to go to the page where the image is located.

If you are using the Internet Explorer browser go to step 3
If you are using Netscape's browser skip step 3 to 5 and go to step 6

3- Put your mouse pointer on the image and click the right mouse button.
4- Click on "properties"
5- Copy the URL address given into the "Image URL" box on the auction site. Make sure the http:// isn't entered twice. That's it you're done. Use your browsers back button now so you can enter your image URL address.

6- Put your mouse pointer on the image and click the right mouse button.
7- Click on view image
8- The location now shown on your browser is the address you need to put into the "Image URL" box on the auction site. Use your browsers back button now so you can enter your image URL address.

An image of a camera is now added to any auction that shows a photo. Did you know that items with photos sell 7 times faster than those without? If you don't have a web site to download your photos to, email the photo to us with a .gif or .jpg file extension and we'll post it on our server for a 3.00 fee.
