Taylor 614-ce Guitar       SOLD
This 2007 Taylor 614-ce acoustic guitar is in mint condition. It has a Sitka Spruce top and Big Leaf Maple back and sides with an ebony fretboard. It has the Taylor Expression System pickup and a three piece, highly flamed, maple back that is extremely beautiful. The nut and saddle are tusq and the soundhole rosette is abalone. The neck is made from hard rock maple. The action is very low and the guitar is easy to play. There are no buzzes or any other technical issues. These guitars have had wonderful reviews all over the internet for very good reason. This guitar also sounds a good deal better than the new, 2008 Taylor 614-ce I have in stock, maybe because of the three piece back. This guitar comes with the original Taylor hardshell case. The person who bought this guitar only had it for 6 months before selling it to us.

Taylor Koa 615-CE Mint Condition Acoustic Guitar     SOLD
Almost new 2007 Taylor 615-ce guitar in mint condition. This jumbo guitar has highly flamed Big Leaf maple back, neck, and sides, a Sitka Spruce top, gold-plated Taylor tuners, and the Taylor expression system pickup. The fingerboard is ebony and the nut width is 1 3/4 inches. It comes with a nice Taylor hardshell case also in perfect condition. This guitar has that beautiful sound that you can only get from a Taylor. This guitar sounds as good plugged in as it does acoustically. This guitar retails at $3948.00 and has barely been played. The person who bought it from us new brought it back two weeks later to trade in on an electric guitar.

2006 Taylor Koa guitar in perfect condition!. This is a great guitar for a very low price. This rare dreadnaught guitar (about 260 were made) features the rare Koa wood for the top, back, and sides, the Taylor Expression System, diamond fretboard inlays, and an ebony fingerboard. The guitar has opened up quite alot in two years, giving it a very warm and clear Koa sound. The top is one of the most beautiful tops I've seen. A Taylor hardshell case is included. The retail of this guitar is $2600.

Alvarez Yairi FY-200 1700.00 (reg. price 3400.00)
This guitar is a brand new absolutely gorgeous Alvarez Yairi FY200. The FY200 features the folk body style with a solid spruce top for a more pleasing tone. The back and sides are a beautiful Indian rosewood, bound with maple.The rosette is set with abalone, as is the 12th fret inlay into the ebony fingerboard. The bridge is direct coupled and crafted out of ebony. Tuning Machines are gold die cast. The guitar is a factory second, meaning that it has a small flaw somewhere on the guitar and as a result Yairi sells it to us for far cheaper and we in turn can sell it for much less than a regular Yairi. The flaw on this guitar is what looks like a tiny finish bubble under where the bridge pins are in the ebony insert. I cannot get it to show up in a photo because it is so small. I have over 100 guitars in my store and this is one of the best sounding. The price on this guitar is cut by over half from it's retail of $3400.00 to $1700.00.

1962 GIBSON J-50        $2700 SOLD
This guitar is in great condition for it's vintage. There is a e string pickguard crack that has been properly repaired. The crack is a bit hard to see in the photo (it's right underneath the e string). The tone is outstanding. The back has some nicks and scratches (see photos) but nothing major to worry about. There is also some fingerboard wear around the first three frets. Original tuners. There is the usual finish checking that you see in most all Gibson guitars of this vintage. The bridge has been replaced with bone for a better tone.

1965 Gibson Southern Jumbo 2300.00    SOLD
This is a 1965 Gibson Southern Jumbo guitar in great condition. There was a tone control knob installed through the pickgaurd but has since been removed and filled. You can see it clearly in the pictures. The action is low, the neck is straight, and there is plenty of room on the saddle to lower it if desired. This guitar has a wonderfully large, deep tone that's great for both ryhthm and lead playing.

SOLD 2004 SUNBURST BLUERIDGE GUITAR MODEL BG-160 w/ Case - $595 SOLD
This used guitar a beautiful sunburst finish, a solid Sitka Spruce Top, and solid East Indian Rosewood back and sides. The headstock has "century wreath" inlay and the fretboard has abalone inlay. There are two dime sized cracks on the surface of the headstock which you can see in the picture below. Other than this, some pick wear above the pickquard, and very slight buckle wear on the back, this guitar is in very good condition. It has a full, rich, loud sound that reminds me of an old Gibson. Very nice brown hardshell case that looks like leather is included.

Near-Mint Silvertone Guitar 595.00 SOLD
This is a near-mint condition silvertone guitar, with the original amp-in-case. This tube amp is a better quality amp with more power and tremlo than some of their other models. This guitar is a double cutaway model with two lipstick tube pickups. Neck is in great shape. 3-way switch and a volume and tone control for each pickup. This is practically mint except for a few little scuffs on the top of the headstock. You would be hard pressed to find a cleaner model of this guitar. Heinrich Heberlein Violin 3000.00 This violin is a beautiful old 1928 Heberlein violin, made in Markneukirchen, Germany. Two piece flamed maple back. Moderately flamed maple neck, scroll, and sides. Beautifully cut bridge. Perfect neck setup. Ebony pegs, tailpiece, and chinrest. No cracks. Excellent condition. This is a serious instrument from a well respected maker.

UNLABELED STRAT COPY 1500.00 Highly flammed two piece maple back, sides, and neck. Ebony fittings. High quality close grained spruce top. Violin is fully blocked and lined. Nicely cut scroll with 'concert violin' label on back. No cracks and good neck angle. Appears to be a early 1900's instrument. Strung with Helicore strings.

JACOBUS HORNSTEINER VIOLIN 625.00 Nice strad copy made in 1929, probably made in Germany. Moderately flamed one-piece back, ebony fittings and fingerboard, no cracks, usual wear for a violin of its age. Nice rich tone, well balanced on all four strings. Please note that the close up pic of the scroll shows a scratch in the finish. It is not cracked.

FANCY FULL SIZED VIOLIN, ONE PIECE BACK 2000.00 Wonderfully carved scroll. Flamed maple neck. Ebony fingerboard. Tail piece,chinrest, endpin, and hill style pegs are made of what I believe is Boxwood(?). Button is trimmed with ebony. Nicely flamed back and sides. Inlaid purfling, beautifully done. Well cut bridge. Fully lined and blocked. Magnificent tone. I purchased this violin in Nashville, it is unlabeled. Beautiful trimming, (see pics). Fluted f holes. In excellent shape, no cracks or hidden damage. Full Sized.

Has two top cracks starting from the saddle. One crack runs up 4 inches, the other one 2 1/4 inches. Nice big sweet tone. The violin could use a set up.

Vega Cylinder-Back Mandolin $1250.00 SOLD
Flamed maple back and sides with rosewood headstock overlay. Top back and sides are in excellent condition-no cracks. There are some minor scratches on the right hand bout and upper back. It's missing the tailpiece cover but has the original tuners. Bridge needs to be raised slightly. Very good condition for this rare instrument made only between 1913 and 1925. Original finish. Has a rich, wonderful old tone.

1929 Gibson F2 Mandolin $4500.00
This super clean mandolin has mahogany back and sides and a maple top. It's all original except the bridge may possibly have been replaced. Ebony fingerboard.
